We want to take this opportunity to openly address the concerns raised by our peers. First and foremost, we want to emphasise that we are just at the beginning of our journey! This is not an excuse, but rather a request for patience as we continue to grow and improve. If everyone waited for perfection before starting, the world would see far less innovation.

One common question we’ve heard is whether we plan to become a non-profit organisation. The honest answer is: we don’t know yet. It’s something we’re actively exploring, but we need to fully understand the implications and procedures involved before making any decisions.

As of now, we have no financial backing, and all involvement with the standard is being done voluntarily by our incredible members and supporters. We’re immensely grateful for their dedication and hard work.

Tiers of Participation

GO AQS offers three tiers of commitment to cater to different levels of involvement: Main Committee, Expert Advisory, and Ambassador. Each tier requires a varying degree of time and effort. While the Main Committee is deeply involved in project development and decision-making, the Expert Advisory provides specialized knowledge and guidance, and Ambassadors primarily promote the project and engage with the community.

The choice of tier is entirely up to the individual’s preference and availability. Participants can freely transition between tiers as their circumstances change, whether due to personal or professional commitments. Life events such as job changes, family growth, or health issues may influence a participant’s ability to contribute, and the flexibility of the commitment tiers ensures that everyone can participate at a level that suits their needs.
