Her experience as a Senior Fellow at the Pandemic Center at Brown University, will be invaluable in shaping a robust and impactful policy framework for the Global Open Air Quality Standards.
Policy Opportunities to Improve Indoor Air Quality
Recently, Dr. Lagoudas and her team presented a suite of policy options intended as a roadmap for federal and state leaders to improve indoor air quality nationwide, structured around four key recommendations: developing health-based IAQ guidelines for state and local adoption, supporting state and local adoption of these standards with technical assistance and financing, implementing sector-specific IAQ standards or guidelines, and expanding IAQ research and development. The paper emphasizes the need for coordinated efforts across government levels, industry, academia, and non-profits to establish clear targets and implement changes.
