At GO AQS, our mission is to create a world where everyone breathes the same clean air and has access to healthy environments. We are committed to establishing and promoting open, transparent, and scientifically grounded air quality standards. Through collaboration with scientists, industry, policymakers, and communities, we develop adaptable frameworks grounded in peer-reviewed science. Our principles guide every aspect of our work to drive accountability, innovation, and lasting impact in air quality management. These are:
Equality. Our work aims to ensure everyone has access to the same clean air by educating, developing, and promoting safer standards.
Equity. Clean air is a human right applicable to all of us. We are working towards ensuring that policymakers uphold your rights.
Flexibility. We use an Open standard framework to empower the AQ community and remove barriers.
Scientific. We integrate the latest peer-reviewed knowledge from environmental, health, wellbeing, engineering, and computational sciences to inform our position on all AQ matters and related fields.
Universality. We bring together experts from a wide range of disciplines to forge a common, accepted language for knowledge development
Story
Tired of the slow progress in air quality protection, GO AQS was founded as a non-profit in September 2024. We are a collective of 180 industry professionals, researchers, and community representatives from more than 30 countries, aiming to establish and promote open, transparent, and scientifically grounded air quality standards. Through our inclusive and collaborative research and development frameworks, we are committed to ensuring that everyone has access to healthy environments.
