GO AQS is excited to announce a formal partnership with the VERT Association, a premier international organization dedicated to the promotion of Best Available Technology (BAT) for emission control and the elimination of ultrafine particle emissions from all sources.
This partnership unites two organizations committed to scientific excellence and public health. While VERT has spent over 20 years pioneering nanoparticle measurement and emission reduction for combustion engines, GO AQS continues to lead the way in establishing transparent, health-based indoor air quality benchmarks. Together, the organizations will work to bridge the gap between outdoor emission standards and indoor air safety, focusing on the often-overlooked threat of ultrafine particles (UFPs).
As a cornerstone of this new collaboration, Sotirios Papathanasiou, Founder of GO AQS, has been invited to speak at the prestigious VERT Forum in Bern, Switzerland, on March 19th, 2026.
During his presentation, Mr. Papathanasiou will discuss the mission of GO AQS and deliver a critical deep dive into the importance of monitoring ultrafine particles in indoor spaces. While traditional standards often focus on larger particulate matter (PM2.5), the partnership emphasizes that UFPs, due to their ability to penetrate deep into the human bloodstream and brain, represent a major frontier in indoor health that requires immediate policy and technical intervention.
“Partnering with VERT Association is a natural evolution for GO AQS,” said Sotirios Papathanasiou. “VERT’s expertise in particle filtration and measurement is world-class. By joining forces, we can better advocate for indoor environments that protect occupants from the smallest, yet most damaging, particles in our air.“
Dr. Lauretta Rubino, CEO of the VERT Association, expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting the shared goal of protecting the public from the most dangerous airborne threats.
VERT Forum
The VERT Forum and Focus Day on NPTI (March 19-20, 2026 at METAS in Switzerland) are a key event that gathers international manufacturers,
researchers, and policymakers to share the highest technical standards in emission control. The 2026 Forum will serve as a vital platform for GO AQS to introduce its standards to a global technical audience.
